General Guidance

Flux is built to understand human-like sentences and technical photographic instructions. While keywords still work fine, you can also prompt it with a natural language.

OK Prompt: woman, coffee shop, sunlight, 8k, highly detailed

Good Prompt: A candid photo of a woman laughing while holding a steaming latte in a sun-drenched corner of a rustic coffee shop.

Model Differences

Flux 2 Klein

Flux 2 Klein is optimized for speedy generations. Expect most results to take only a few seconds to complete.

Flux 2 Flash

Flux 2 Flash is a distilled version of the Pro model, creating high quality images similar to the Pro version with fewer iteration steps in the generation process. Expect most results to take several seconds and not have hyper realistic textures (like individual skin pores or complex fabric weaving).

Flux 2 Pro

Flux 2 Pro is the highest quality model, optimized for detailed, high quality images instead of speed. Expect generations to take more time than the other models, depending on the complexity of the prompt.

Quick Tips for Image Creation

  • Flux is good at creating legible text inside images. To get the best results, use double quotes for the text you want and specify the typography.

    • A vintage neon sign on a rainy Tokyo street that says "MIDNIGHT RAMEN" in a flickering pink cursive font.

  • Flux understands spatial awareness, you can specify where to put things using words like Foreground, Middle ground, and Background.

    • In the foreground, a detailed magnifying glass. In the middle ground, an old leather map. In the background, a blurry window showing a storm.

  • Avoid “Negative Prompting” and describe the absence or the replacement in the prompt.

    • Instead of "No blur": Use Sharp focus or Crisp details

    • Instead of "No people": Use Empty street or Deserted landscape
