Prompting Best Practices

Last updated 12 days ago

In general, Prompting in Nilo supports simplification. Prompts can be Clear and Short or Conversational and Specific.

For example, using Sci-fi Rover or futuristic sci-fi rover with titanium alloy paneling and blue neon lights will still yield good results.

Separate important concepts using a comma. But avoid using more than four commas.

For example, Knight character, t-pose instead of Knight tpose or Knight, character, tpose, detailed, blue armor

Prompting best practices can vary based on the AI model you are generating with. To learn best practices for a specific AI Model, read through the AI Models documentation.

In general, if you have a clear idea of what you want to achieve visually, we recommend pairing your 3d model generation with some sort of 2d image.

Image files used should clearly show the singular object you want to generate, such as a singular sword instead of multiple daggers.

Images should also have a solid color background for the best results.

If you do not have a clear idea of what you want to create, we recommend using the text based system and writing out what first comes to mind.
