General Guidance

Meshy performs best when prompts are divided into three clear categories. This helps the AI distinguish between the shape, its surface, and the overall "vibe."

[Core Subject] , [Modifiers] , [Style Keywords]

  • Subject: The base object (e.g., a legendary battle axe, a cyberpunk drone).

  • Modifiers: Specific materials and physical details (e.g., etched silver, worn leather handle, pulsing blue lights).

  • Styles: Artistic direction or software references (e.g., stylized, low-poly, Unreal Engine render, 8k resolution).

OK Prompt: A cyberpunk drone

Good Prompt: A cyberpunk drone, etched armor plating, anime style

Meshy can sometimes create "floating bits" of mesh when it tries to interpret abstract concepts. Avoid Abstract words like glitter, smoke, magic energy, or fire.

When necessary, include technical "nudges" in your prompt, such as T-Pose

Quick Tips for Better Mesh Quality

Single Subject: Only prompt for one object at a time. Asking for "a table and chairs" often leads to a merged, unusable blob.

Avoid Fluff: Remove words like "beautiful," "amazing," or "the best." The AI doesn't know what "beautiful" means to you, but it will understand things like 4K Textures.

Enable PBR & HD Textures: Toggle PBR (Physically Based Rendering) and HD (High Definition) Textures in the settings if you want to generate high quality results.
