How to fix a black or white screen issue

Occasionally the browser screen can appear fully white or black when loading into a world. Try the following to fix the issue:

Make sure hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser. In Chrome, go to Settings > System and toggle "Use graphics acceleration when available"

Make sure to have the latest graphics drivers.

Switch to the WebGL render type under dev menu. You can find this by selecting the Tools icon in the sidebar even when the rest of the screen is black.
